House Extensions

Our business is built on designing and obtaining planning permission for domestic house extensions.

With the recent introduction of 3D modelling we feel we offer a unique and very professional service and yet remain friendly, helpful and sensibly priced.

This sector of the market is often looked down upon by larger architecture practices

We often find that the whole building and planning process can be a daunting thought to a lot of people, so we try to make the whole process as painless as possible, we work to your ideas and help guide you through the design process.

However large or small the extension we will advise you on the planning issues you will need to be aware of and help guide you through the planning process. Recent work ranges from a simple summer room extension to a newly built modern town house to a new wing on a large village house and even a very unusual underground kitchen and living room set beneath and existing garden.

A unique twist to architecture presentation

We are able to offer 3D computer models of your proposed extension and allow you to gave a good feel for the work before the planning application is even submitted.

Although 3D "walk through" and images are all over our televisions and often appear on programs such as "Grand Designs" they are still not widely used for house extensions due to the cost of photo realistic modelling. Stable Architecture is proud to be leading the way in changing the way drawings are prepared as we are able to provide 3D models and perspective sketch views within the planning drawings. These we feel help explain the proposal not only to you but to the planning officers and even your neighbours.

For more information of how 3D models can help your proposal and increase the chance of getting your planning permission please visit our 3D section.
