3D Modelling

We believe 3D is the future……………

It has now become possible to create 3D views of proposed work that will help people understand our drawings with ease.

Stable Architecture prides itself on being one of the only small architectural practices to offer this service a part of its standard service to all its clients.

How this can work for you

We are now using 3D perspective views within over 90% of our planning drawings and are achieving a very high approval rate.
We put this success down to drawings that can be understood, we find that neighbours are far happier with applications when they can get a real view of what’s going to be built, and we have been receiving far less objections to proposals.

A 3D model is created of your proposed design be it a small house extension or a new build house. This model can then be viewed from any angle and these views used within the planning drawing to show how the proposal will look.

These 3D views will really help explain the proposal not only to you but also to your neighbours, the parish council and the planning officer.

We have become very frustrated in the past with parish councils and planning officers not really understand the drawings in from of them, adding 3D views takes all of this away.

One of the most impressive things from a client point if view is the ability to see the shadows that an extension can create. Once the house has been modelled in 3D we can change the time of day and the time of year so that you can see just how much any proposal will overshadow adjoining windows and affect it’s surroundings.

We have included some images on this page to show what can be achieved.

We really do believe that this is how all architectural drawings should be presented, and are very proud to offer this service; so far we haven’t met anyone who has not been impressed.
